Change of Delivery Address

The other day, after sending out a package, the buyer emailed me asking if I could change the delivery address as there will be no one at home to sign for the package, due to the Chinese New Year holidays, presumably.

Oh my, that put me in a spot. You know, obviously he doesn’t, once a package leaves my hands, there is NO way I can get it back or alter the delivery address or mode of shipping or whatever.

I work fast and as far as possible try not delay a package from leaving but there are times that I may be too fast for my buyer.

Well, what could I do? NOTHING. Like I said, once it has left, it has left. There had been a couple of times when my buyers wrote to me to change delivery address or even items(!) and I do it although it messes up my packaging and causes me double work, but anything to minimize my buyer’s hassle and enhancing his shopping experience with me, you know?
