Can’t Withdraw Paypal Via Credit / Debit Card
March 30, 2007 – 8:17 pmThere are still people who are confused thinking that they are able to withdraw their Paypal funds if they have a credit or debit card linked to it. That is a great misconception. One can only withdraw Paypal funds by adding a bank account from a country that is approved by Paypal and Malaysia is not included in their list of friendly countries.
Like I mentioned, perhaps Paypal will only recognise Malaysia when the Ringgit is open to international trade. When will that be? When the Ringgit is stronger. By then it is harder for us Malaysians to benefit from the exchange rate against the USD.
Also, eBay has promised to fully open up their Paypal facility to Malaysians by the end of 2007. It’s already April soon. When will the promise be fulfilled?

I think Paypal promised that to everyone and everyone still waiting. They said it too during the eBay seminar held here in Philippines. Full features by 2007. How I wish…..

Hi Paypal gay,
Thanks for your comment. I think we are all waiting for the same thing which may never happen at all, at least not in the near future.
Large corporations are very good at making promises but I am not sure if they will see it through.
I think Paypal users from the Philppines have a worse deal than Malaysians. At least we can still withdraw our Paypal funds but I understand that Philippines users can only accept but not withdraw. This is not logical at all.
