Colorful Eye-catching Cell Phones
May 16, 2007 – 12:46 amIn marketing, in order to maintain sales volume, a company has to come up with all sorts of gimmicks to hold the consumer’s attention. I remember the old days when cell phones were beginning to get popular. All were in black. Some of my friends would stick cute pictures on the casing. Subsequently, cell phone housing manufacturers supplied so many fancy housings that cell phone owners actually preferred using over original housing.
Since then, cell phones nowadays are shipped in a full range of colors, so much so that it is not easy to find one in plain black anymore. If you take a look at the colors that the Motorola RAZR comes in, you will be amazed. Oh yes, by the way, you can get yourself a free blue RAZR from Wirefly.com with a new Cingular account.
Apart from Motorola, all other phone manufacturers with every carrier are also coming up with various colors. I guess this is the only way to stand out from the crowd and grab the consumer’s attention.
For me, I don’t look for a cell phone that has too many features. I only need it for basic make and receive calls, SMS and MMS and also camera and video capabilities. It would also be great if it could act as a modem in case of emergency. Most importantly, it has to spot a cool design and IT HAS TO BE IN GOLD!
