Digi’s Bad Reputation
May 5, 2007 – 8:32 pmI don’t know if Digi knows this, but they have a mighty bad reputation in the etrading circle no thanks to their low-cost prepaid plans. Many people who plan to commit fraud will be able to buy a Digi prepaid starter kit that is the cheapest in the local perpaid market. And with their cheap SMS charges, they sure had a field day texting unsuspecting genuine Sellers.
The situation has improved a little since the regulation to have all prepaid lines registered. However, not everyone is as law-abiding as I am *ahem* and there are people who have work around for everything.
Therefore, Sellers are usually very cautious when dealing with people who use a Digi number and send out unrelenting SMS texts through the day.
