E-Learning For A Better Future
May 22, 2007 – 12:38 pmMy friends were making me promise them to get a tertiary education. They said that it is a waste if I do not have paper qualification since I definitely can stand my own among people with a degree to show. They tell me that no matter how smart I am, without a paper qualification, I am unable to proof myself. Isn’t that true?
As I spend a lot of time on the computer, they say that I am better off signing up for e-learning than going to a conventional college. However, I am afraid that I may be distracted by other things that tempt me on the world wide web.
Capella University, founded in 1993, seems like a good school to gain that education because it is an accredited online university that offers a complete range of degree programs. I am particularly interested in business and marketing which I believe would help me in my e-trading venture.
Did you know that a faculty member of the School of Business and Technology, Sara Orem, who is also the principal of her own coaching firm, recently co-authored a book called ‘Appreciative Coaching: A Positive Process for Change’? This book guides the reader through Discovery, Dream, Design and Destiny.
It would be awesome to study under her.
