eBay Standard Purchase Protection Program
May 8, 2007 – 3:45 amYou may know that eBay has stopped offering their Standard Purchase Protection for items won or purchased on or after January 17, 2007 through eBay US and Canada marketplaces.
Maybe members from other eBay sites who have filed for such protection claim have been told that they also are not eligible for such a protection claim when they won or purchased their item on or after January 17, 2007.
Of course many people were stumped.
The fact is, this Standard Purchase Protection Program is still in place on other eBay platforms like the UK, Singapore, India, Hong Kong, Philippines, and others, besides US and Canada.
The sad thing is, eBay has grown to such a phenomenal marketplace that their staff does not know everything. Be educated and be aware of your rights. Seek that protection if you are eligible for it.
