I Need More Website Traffic!!!
May 6, 2007 – 10:54 pmAs you may already know, sales have been terrible for the past couple of months. If March was bad, April was WORSE. I don’t know how long this drought in sales will last but it is no fun. When sales were brisk, I used to complain that I am too busy that I have no social life at all. But I am sure that anyone who is in online business will know, we get kicks out of our sales!
A good friend told me to engage the assistance of a website optimization firm. Well, how I wish I have the budget!! I am just a small enterprise funding my online business venture from my own pocket!
Granted, Search Engine Optimization is very important as is Search Engine Marketing. That’s why I read so much on these topics. I actually found quite a few useful resource sites that I found to be very informative. Friends can only help me that much, you know? Thankfully, I have friends who own heavy trafficked websites who allow me to place my banners on their sites for free.
I also am thankful that I have the foresight to start my own blogs was back in late 2005 to introduce my online store to more people. I believe I managed to garner a few visitors who were convinced enough to make purchases at my store through my blogs. So you can see how important blogs are to a business, especially an online business.
