Misleading Title / Keyword Spamming / Search Manipulation / Prices

May 14, 2007 – 10:46 pm

I recently came across this old thread by Lelong Admin on the forums and I found it rather amusing that Sellers need such a tutorial but I do commend Lelong for compiling such a comprehensive tutorial to cover most aspects of misleading posting.

To me, a genuine Seller would always try to be as precise as possible in his description and will use a photo of the actual item.

If I were to purchase an item, and the Seller of this item had manipulated the search feature with keyword spam or price, I definitely would think twice about buying from him.

I mean, the way someone lists something tells a lot about his character and personality. If a person wants to game the system, I am not sure I want to deal with him, seriously.
