Never Reply - SO Rude
May 10, 2007 – 12:10 amThere’s this guy that I met online. He doesn’t like me although we are both working in the same city because I know stuff about him but he doesn’t know anything about me. Anyway, on two occasions, I emailed him regarding some work matter, and I am willing to pay for his services. He is a professional and I never expect free things from people, let alone him whom I was told is a bad employer (a family friend worked for him before).
So the thing is, he never bothered to reply both times. He may not like me, but doesn’t he want my business?
Although I may be a lot younger than he is, does it mean that I can’t afford to pay his professional fees? I feel that being a professional, it is very rude of him to not reply. Even if I am his worst enemy on earth, business is business, why should personal feelings be mixed into business matters?
You know, businessmen and professionals, and in his case, he is both because he has his own office, public relations is one of the most important aspects to cultivate. Snubbing me will not do him or his business any good because he won’t know how many people I will spread to about his rude behavior towards me.
