One Click One Cent
May 26, 2007 – 8:32 amIn an earlier post, Get Paid To Read Ads & Comment, I commented that the quantum of compensation was not stated. Sometimes I wonder if we really want to know that!
I discovered another programme whereby members are paid ONE CENT (!) for one click on an assigned link. Of course, members are SUPPOSED to read the page that the link directs them to, but who knows? As long as the link is clicked on, the member will be credited with one cent.
They also have a referral programme where members will be paid ONE CENT for each click that their down line makes. And they tell us that they are giving us A HUNDRED PERCENT overriding commission. How ridiculous can that get?
If a company wants to be big, please don’t be cheap. I don’t know the market rate for link clicking but ONE cent sounds like they are undermining their members. Of course, some people do not mind but shouldn’t members be adequately compensated for their time in clicking on the links and also for spreading the news about the programme?
