Using HTML for eBay
May 4, 2007 – 12:15 pmWhen I first started eBaying, all my listings were very plain and unattractive. I subsequently read that HTML can attract more bidders. I am not very sure of this, though, but at least, HTML makes reading easier for potential bidders.
I learned basic HTML which is also useful for website building, but I am rather lazy to write my own HTML code and prefer to use one of those readily available eBay templates where I just have to input my own description, payment, shipping and other information, all in text. Ah, bliss!
For people who are eBaying on paid eBay sites, HTML is more important because you can add in your images to the body of your listing without incurring additional eBay image listing fee.
Today, I came across this tutorial on HTML specifically on eBay. It’s a step by step guide on creating your own eBay sales presentation. If you are just starting out on eBay, Design eBay is the place to learn your HTML coding!
