A New HYIP Scheme
June 20, 2007 – 2:03 amToday, I received an email from a company asking me to check out their new “investment forum”. I remember joining their original forum a few years back. In their original forum, they have a Paid To Post program where each post made is worth one or two cents. It has been such a long time that I have forgotten already. Since I registered with them, I did not make any post because my time is definitely worth more than that. Surprisingly, after so many years, my account was not terminated for inactivity.
Anyway, with their email, I was curious since I am all for investment and making that extra buck, but legally, mind you! To my surprise, the kind of investment is actually a High Yield Investment Program. Too bad this is not for me. Thank you very much.
I hopped over to their original forum and my, are the members active. When I first joined, there were only a handful of us. Now, membership stands at 3228 who made a total of 33505 posts. I did not know there are so many people who have so much free time on their hands.
I have forgotten if this is a Malaysian company or if it was a foreign company. When I first joined, there were quite a number of Malaysian members which made me think that this is a local company. I could be wrong, though.
The reason I wrote this post is that I feel that they should be reported. Nobody should participate in any HYIP. They never work, at least not in the long term.
