Blog(s) & Store Colour Schemes
June 7, 2007 – 6:51 amIf you have been with Cyberpartygal’s WebStore right from the start, you would know that the store started off green. I tested with a handful of colours like orange, red and blue but finally settled with green because it was most pleasing to the eye out of all the available colours.
My blogs are also in green because I read somewhere that if you have a store and a blog, you have to match them with the same layout, theme or at least the colour. This is to condition your store visitors and blog readers’ minds into associating the theme or colour with you.
Last year, I revamped my WebStore upon the advice of my sifu and even changed the colour because according to my sifu, green is no way sexy! Haha I have to agree!
Unfortunately, I could not match the same colour on my blogs! Now my Buyers are unable to associate my WebStore with my blogs unless I get customized themes done for my Store and both my blogs *sigh*
