Citibank Can Or Not?
June 19, 2007 – 5:52 amThe other day, I wrote THIS POST which I shall not quote because some people from the “company” came to read it without leaving a comment and I don’t know if they are taking my post positively or negatively (oh, the creepiness!). So anyway, basing on the same concept which was told to me by a very reliable source, I wonder if we can apply the same concept to Citibank.
Citibank is an American bank and should be able to assist people from overseas in opening a US Bank account without going to the US. Many people have said that it is not possible. However, I came across this article that says we could try.
Take a read: http://www2.valisinternational.com/?pg=banking
Again, we have to be a customer of good standing for more than one year before requesting to open a Citibank account in the United States. I do not have a contact in Citibank Kuala Lumpur and I do not know of anyone with a Citibank account but I do know people who hold a Citibank credit card.
Does anyone want to try asking? There is no Citibank branch in my city or I would have given them a call but there is hope, right?
