June 12, 2007 – 1:02 amAs an etrader for 2.5 years already, sometimes I am caught up by other things in life that I just fall into a monotonous routine in selling my products. This is very dangerous considering that every Buyer is seeking something fresh and if I were to just continuously list and relist my products that have not been selling, who will be interested in them?
I find that three months is a good time frame to evaluate your listings. For the items that have been listed forever or moving slow, perhaps you want to rethink the way to word your description. Perhaps it is time to shoot a new set of photos or at least the thumbnail photo which will give the impression to browsers that this is new arrival although it may not be.
There’s no denying that the best way to keep the interest of your Buyers and potential Buyers is to introduce new products regularly but life is such that there sometimes may be a time gap from one consignment to another due to a thousand and one delays. When this happens, you have to come up with innovative ideas to sustain that interest until your new batch of products arrives. Are you up to the challenge?
