WebSites Of Two More Scampanies Blocked
June 24, 2007 – 11:44 pmFollowing my post, Scam Investments, on 24th April, 2007, yesterday, the Malaysian Securities Commission (SC) has blocked two more Malaysian illegal investment websites with the help of the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission and CyberSecurity Malaysia.
Malaysians are continuously advised not to invest any money on investment companies that are unlicensed because they will not be protected under the securities law provided by the Malaysian Securities Commission.
Also, once a website is blocked, nobody can access the website again, even if they are genuine investors. Either way, an investor loses!
If you check out my post, Scam Investments, you will find a whole list of companies that have been blocked. This list is not exhaustive as the SC continues to crack down on websites offering investment schemes illegally. The two new additions to the list are:

I you are thinking of investing internet companies like these, if would do you good to cross check with the Securities Commission first.
