Decorating With Area Rugs
July 17, 2007 – 8:29 amI just came across an online store that specializes in area rugs. My own home is not decorated with any area rug because we have indoor pets but my office is decorated with one.
I do admit that an area rug adds warmth and color to the room and brightens an otherwise stark room, especially an office where other decorations are kept at a minimum and the flooring is just plain hardwood floor.
Since I get to decorate my own room in the office, I could select any design or color that I like for my area rugs. Sometimes I go according to a theme or season and I like the look of surprise when regular visitors walk in to a new piece. You would not believe that the area rug has been the ice breaker and interesting conversation piece many times.
When I do have my own home, I surely look forward to adding the area rug to the living room. It will make the home more inviting.
