Learning Personal Financial Management
July 26, 2007 – 6:10 amIf you have been following my blog, you would know that I have a friend who is very bad in financial management DESPITE being in senior management at work. Well, I shall not name names here but last weekend, I told him about a consumer financial resource site where he could certainly get some tips on how to get out of debt.
It’s amazing that there was once his mom had to sell homemade cookies to help with bills despite him earning a five figure salary! Well, there’s so much one could do with that insane amount of money monthly but it looked like he could not manage it at all.
He even had to get mortgage help which I think is a wise move at that time PROVIDED he learns his lesson well and change his spending pronto. Unfortunately, he did not really turn over a new leaf UNTIL he lost his job and went jobless for nine long months.
Don’t you think he needs to read up all he could on financial management and implement the tips on his own life?
