Screen Protector For My Nokia E61i - Pt. 2
July 17, 2007 – 2:19 amSo I decided to return to the shop that sold me the first protector. He was surprised and asked me if my earlier protector was peeled. I told him this is another unit. So I bought one protector and he told me to talk a walk around the mall while he sticks it for me since he gets nervous when I hawk-eyed at him.
When I returned about 20 minutes later, he told me that this time, his handiwork was better than the first time. Actually, the first time, only one corner was bad. To my surprise, this time, a whole strip was missing at the top and imagine the line cutting into your vision when you are using the device to surf the internet, especially with the back light.
Like I said, this is a protector for the PSP and he had to cut it to fit my screen and it cost me a freaking MYR30 each.
I was so unhappy with the work that I bought another piece and told him I am going to do it myself this time. He was so afraid knowing that I am disappointed with his work. He should be lucky that I did not demand a replacement for free. He charged me MYR25 and not MYR30. That means I have already spent MYR30 for the first device, MYR30 which he spoilt and another MYR25 which I stuck in by myself successfully way better than he did it the first OR second time.
Sometimes, we really can’t depend on others. It is always better to be hands-on. Don’t you think so? Or am I too fussy?
