Send Them To The US?
July 28, 2007 – 1:01 amIf you are even mildly interested in internet marketing and also a Malaysian, you would probably have heard of the three Malaysian marketing gurus who are selling a hundred ebook titles at a cheaper than cheap price to raise funds to make a trip to the United States for an internet marketing convention.
They say that they could very well fund their own trip but since they have made a bet that they would raise the funds by applying what they have learnt in internet marketing, they are going to do so or they will not go.
Well, I don’t know. They started selling at a price of $3X which I presume is in USD and then within the seven day sale period, they will raise it little by little. Don’t ask me if what they are doing is what people call internet marketing. Maybe it is, maybe it is not.
They are essentially selling ebooks but when I clicked on the PayPal logo, the invoice says MEMBERSHIP. Errmm are non-physical goods allowed on PayPal?
Anyway, I am not buying because I have access to a *stack* of almost a hundred eBooks for free that I am supposed to download but I haven’t gotten around to it. And I could even give them out for free. Why buy? I want to go to the US too, you know?
