Text Link Ads Implemented
July 18, 2007 – 5:30 amI have been a member of Text Link Ads for a long time. While my Blogger blog has been accepted to serve ads on my blog, I have not been able to implement the script because it requires the new Blogger format, well, not so new now. But still, that effectively means that I am not able to implement the code, will not until TLA does something about the script or forego my heavily customized layout, which I am not prepared to do.
Anyway, I just left my TLA referral button on my sidebar and gained myself a few bucks from referral fees. Meanwhile, I’ve been hearing complaints of how difficult it is for blogs to be accepted by the system, how even blogs with Google Page Rank 4 were not good enough.
And then I heard that some people’s blogs without a Page rank were accepted. Now, that sure is weird! If Page Rank is not the determining factor, then what is?
After surfing to more sites and blogs, I discovered that even blogs with Page Rank 3 were serving TLA ads, so I decided to give my new blog a chance and it was accepted and unlike the Blogger blog, I have no issue implementing my ad script. So now, I hope that some company would actually buy a link from my blog.
