The Option to Sell Structured Settlements
July 23, 2007 – 11:39 amI just came across a company that could make arrangements for people who are thinking of selling structured settlement. In my line of work, I know of quite a few people who are receiving structured settlements from insurance companies due to injuries suffered at work and I certainly can understand that they are in a financial fix most of the time because they are unable to work.
When there is a need, they are always unable to come up with a lump sum of money, like when they children need it for education or the house needs fixing, least of all money for holidays!
I think that people like them should know that they have the option of selling structured settlement so that they can plan their finances better. Most people would prefer to have a lump sum of cash, anyway and it certainly helps in situations described above.
It is unfortunate that these people that I know who need services like these are illiterate so I am going to try to let them know of the options that they have with their structured settlements. Whether they will use the service is another matter but I just feel that they should be made aware of the opportunity. Don’t you think so?
