The Prestigious American Express Card
July 11, 2007 – 3:59 amA friend remarked that as a business person, I really should not carry any ol’ credit card. He said that American Express is the only card for business people to show that one has “arrived”. I am not sure how true that is but I do agree that American Express is an old brand name that is respected all over the world.
Since I am unfamiliar with American Express and I am curious about what my friend said, I decided to check online to see what I could find out. At first, it difficult until this friend told me to see them all on CreditMe.com. Wow, I was impressed that there are three pages of American Express Credit Cards. What got my interest piqued about American Express cards is that no longer do the cards only spot the gold and the green colors that we are so familiar with.
I find the new designs and colors very refreshing and up-to-date visually but that is not all. On CreditMe.com where I could compare all the American Express Credit Cards, some of the premium cards have the benefit of Global Assist® Plus Hotline. This is a great feature for the traveling business person plus most of the cards allow us to accumulate loyalty bonus points which could be used for redemptions.
For American Express Cards, though, one must read the terms carefully because some cards have an annual fee. However, the prestige is hard to ignore and very tempting indeed!
