Would You Make A Big Fuss?
July 17, 2007 – 8:22 amSo my friend read both my posts, Screen Protector For My Nokia E61i and Screen Protector For My Nokia E61i - Pt. 2. He says that I am really dumb to accept a defective screen protector. Defective here means that the guy at the shop cut it smaller than my screen and so spoilt it. He said that I had every right to reject the work he did and demand that he stick another piece for me for free.
Or, I could claimed that the protector peeled off and claim warranty, since the guy did ask me if the sheet peeled off when he saw me for the second time.
Sure I could do all that but for MYR30 + MYR25, is it worth it to create a scene? I don’t think my skin is that thick! My friend, who looks like a street gangster at the best of times would surely be able to carry out this role but me …. I prefer not to create bad blood even if that guy is a just stranger to me.
My question is, if you were in my shoes, would you have demanded a new (and free) screen protector?

Yikes you have had wuite the ordeal as well! I absolutely would return it! You paid good money for a service and it was not up to your expectations! You have every right to get the services you pay for! What did you end up doing?

I had my phone replaced but that only solved half the issues. The other half, I was told to wait for new software, so let’s see if an updated software (don’t know when it will be released) will solve the other half.
As for the screen protector, I bought a new 3rd piece and stuck it by myself at home!
