Account Verification Process

While I wait for access to internet banking, I would have to use phone banking for the time being. So every time I need to make a balance enquiry, I would have to call up the Customer Service Centre and the representative would ask me a few questions to verify that I am the real account holder.

I could also check my balance from the ATM but the branch of this bank in my hometown is at the other side of town so I prefer to call them up, even though just to get through takes me a couple of hours. Well, it’s supposed to be a toll free call but I shall only believe it when I receive my upcoming telephone bill.

Anyway, one of the questions I was asked was if I use internet banking. Well, isn’t that an odd question? I believe that IF I have access to internet banking, I would have to make a balance enquiry online instead of wasting time calling then up.

Haihh I would have to persevere until I am granted with an internet banking account.
