Branson Buys 20% Stake In FAX

Did you read the news that Virgin boss, Richard Branson has bought 20% stake in FAX, the company which owns Air Asia?

A month ago, there were rumours that Richard Branson would play a vital role in budget air travel in Malaysia but both Virgin and Air Asia have denied it. Well, now the truth is out and yes, Richard Branson is indeed in Malaysia. I wonder what is in store for Malaysian budget air travelers.

I know Richard Branson is a very innovative forward thinking person and I have admired his business acumen for a long time now. Hopefully, there will be better things for us here and perhaps more cheap tickets to international destinations? This is certainly no wishful thinking now that Richard Branson is here and backing Air Asia!
