Competing During PC Fair

August 11, 2007 – 10:22 am

If you think that you can buy cheaper computer products during PC Fair, well think again. Last week, a new PC shop opened in my hometown and they had three days of sale. However, this weekend, PC Fair is here again. It was launched last weekend in KL.

During the last PC Fair, I saw vendors selling multimedia headphones at MYR10 per pair. This time, I don’t have anything to buy except for multimedia headphones and I am expecting them to sell at MYR10 again.

However, the PC shop that just opened last week, called PC Depot, has sent out fliers of their Happy Hour starting from 3pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, to compete with PC Fair.

One of the items listed is multimedia headphones and they are selling at MYR7 only. That’s a MYR3 difference. May not be much but then when the venue for PC Fair and the PC Depot shop are the same distance from my house, of course I would prefer to save the MYR3.

Can you imagine how competitive business is??
