August 15, 2007 – 6:19 pmI was chatting with my friend, an insurance agent, the other day and she told me that there are many kinds of insurance. She only offers the most common ones like medical, life, home and car insurance. She said that for medical insurance, there is also the medical travel insurance which is specifically for air travelers who have a pre-existing medical condition. Normally, these people have to pay a high premium due to the high risk factor. Worse, some companies don’t even accept coverage for people like this.
She told me to read up more on the various travel insurance at Cover My Travels and to help spread the information that every one should buy insurance before they travel. Coverage will ensure that we get the mot out of our travel and not worry over something that MAY happen. Insurance gives us the peace of mind and it is all the more important when we are in a foreign land.
I read that Cover My Travels could offer travel insurance at a lower price than its competitors. This is good news for the frequent traveler since they will get to save a considerable amount of money.

Looks like they only have insurance for air travel only!
