Shopping With Coupon Codes
August 5, 2007 – 3:18 amThis year, I have been shopping more regularly online compared to last year since I discovered that I could actually save money by using coupon codes. Some people may call these promo codes or discount codes. Well, they are all the same in the sense that they all help us to SAVE money. That’s why I managed to make more purchases online. Besides, I discovered that my purchases are even cheaper online than from a local retailer so I am always excited when I stumble upon a coupon site. Did you know that searching for just the right coupon code is half the kick I get from shopping? It is indeed very exciting.
Today, I was introduced to DealLocker.com, thank God for friends. I may claim to live online but there are so many sites that I came to know about from friends, like Deal Locker. Coincidentally, Deal Locker’s tag line is “because friends help friends get deals”. How true!
The homepage of DealLocker is rather bare but don’t let that fool you. Behind the scene, there is a wealth of coupon codes just waiting to be unearthed. I suspect that the landing page has a simplistic layout to allow for easy loading but once your click on Stores or Categories, do expect a few hundred stores neatly arranged in alphabetical order and categories.
Oh yeah, before I forget, there’s a tag cloud on the bottom of the front page so you can actually see the popular categories.
As a lingerie seller myself, Victoria’s Secret coupons are high on my list and it is a delight to find there are 116 coupons listed and they are all active codes that worked for most users of DealLocker. From the long list, there are codes for free shipping, hefty discounts or free gifts and frankly, I can’t decide which to opt for!
I checked out other clothing coupons and let’s just say this site is a heaven for shopoholics! Even for me, I am finding it difficult to resist charging my card!
