That’s Pure Exploitation!
August 18, 2007 – 10:41 amI just got news that a friend of mine has put up an advertisement seeking a receptionist at MYR700 per month. My goodness! I have always known him as a stingy guy but this is exploitation! How can someone survive on that salary even in cow town Ipoh?
I think it is an insult to give such a low pay. It’s bad enough that the girls are always stuck at the reception desks and can’t even walk away for a little while. I think that this guy should offer at least MYR1200. I think that should be a fair entry level pay.
But although he is only willing to pay MYR700, he is a little better than the doctor who offered only MYR600! I think these people should be reported to the labour department!
