The Bad About 3G SIM Card

August 21, 2007 – 1:43 am

Let’s see, I have used 3G for two months now and I noticed a disadvantage. Sure, the advantage is that I could get online any time I like on my device as long as there is a signal but then this is what I am paying for and I expect no less.

Anyway, using the 3G SIM card to make an outgoing call, the call gets cut off ALL THE time when my signal falls. Sometimes there is not a single signal bar shown. You can say that I could make a call somewhere where there IS signal but then when I have the time to make calls out to chit chat and keep in touch with friends, I am in my room.

Surprisingly, my area has very weak signal considering this is a semi-affluent area and one of the firsts to get broadband in my cow town. *Sigh*

Anyway, I gave them feedback to increase signal in my area when I participated in their phone survey. Hope they will buck up.
