The Benefits of EPAY Debit Cards

August 9, 2007 – 6:47 am

Some readers read that I prefer to shop online using my debit card after reading a previous post about how difficult it was for me to fund my card, until I had to ask my friend to help me deposit some cash in the card before I could charge my purchases to it. Despite the difficulty of funding it, I still preferred debit cards over credit cards because with debit cards, I am in control of my money.

Today, I am introduced to an EPAY debit card which would beat my current debit cards hands down. If I had an EPAY debit card, I would definitely not face the hassle of funding my card because EPAY supports so many modes of payment including egold and pecunix while mine could only be funded through my local savings account, bank transfer or cash deposit through the cash deposit machine or over the counter.

Compared to my cards, EPAY could be funded by so many other ways and definitely more suited for my lifestyle. For one, I never have the time to go to a bank during the day so I could not do over the counter transactions. And the machines are so unreliable as I said in my previous post that I generally prefer to do my banking online. With EPAY, I could transact online without a problem.

This card would be most useful too when I travel. I do not have to carry much cash and worry about losing my cash. With just a card, it acts like my ewallet and I could pay my way though as it is accepted in so many different merchants.

Moreover, I have been told that foreign workers and expatriated could get a card and easily remit money back home to their families without having to queue up at the bank counter or fill up a stack of remittance forms.

If you have ever wondered what the benefits of a debit card are over a credit car, get an EPAY debit card. It will change your perception forever.
