A Business In Voice Over Talent
September 18, 2007 – 11:02 pmMany times, I have been asked, “What can I sell??” And I always tell them, sell something that you have a passion for. There are many things that come to mind if you are someone with varied hobbies and passion.
Today, I am reminded of Don Capone, the voice over talent that was introduced to me some months back. If you have read my blog, you would remember that I mentioned him a couple of times already and what I think of his voice over talent. You can listen to demo audio clips of his voice work on his website DonCapone.com, by the way.
However, today, I am thinking that here’s a man who “sells” his voice. If you have something as great as that, or a skill, any skill at all, you can “sell” it. Selling and doing business need not necessarily involve a physical product. Singers don’t HAVE a product but they do have an excellent package, I must admit, but if you listen to the demo audio, you will understand what I mean about not having a physical product.
For Don Capone, his voice is his product and so is his talent. He sells this and is very successful, even. If you have half of his talent, you too can put it in the market. Remember, selling does not always mean a physical product!
