Cutting Cost With Refurbished POS Equipment
September 15, 2007 – 5:12 pmIn my country where we are not so advanced, I noticed that companies tend to buy all spanking new equipment and then use until they are no longer usable without any service or regular maintenance. This is a mentality problem, I think, and it happens in all companies across the board, especially retailers and service companies.
People who manage a company should know that it is no use to spend money on new POS equipment when used point of sale that has been refurnished work equally well but at a fraction of the cost.
I have seen very new looking ibm pos equipment being put aside in a corner and left to collect dust when all the company needed to do was to engage a company like Vision POS to service it and extend its life. There is still plenty of run time for any refurbished point of sale equipment.
Vision Point of Sale is able to offer NCR point of sale equipment or any other brand at extremely low cost that would help save a company money. Also, once the life span of the equipment has been exhausted, Vision would then dispose it off in a environmentally safe way.
