From Greeting Cards to Private Messages

September 19, 2007 – 1:10 am

You probably remember me writing about receiving greeting cards from all sorts of people and I found out later that this was the latest attempt at phishing for sensitive information.

Well, guess what? Now, I no longer receive these cards purportedly from my neighbours, co-workers, family members, admirers and even worshippers, which is so out of this world!

However, so far, I have received quite a handful of emails which are supposedly notifications of Private Messages received. While I am a member of many forums and part of my sales come from forums with communication via private messages I don’t even bother to open these messages.

If you are receiving these as well, you may want to be extra careful not to click on any links that come in the email.

Hello and welcome to my blog. I would love to receive your comments! If you wish to be updated on new content, do subscribe to my RSS feed on your feed reader or via email. Thanks for visiting!
