Help For Debt Relief and Credit Card Consolidation
September 29, 2007 – 11:51 pmAs you know, in this blog, I wrote quite a lot of posts on credit cards. I even questioned if they are evil and came to the conclusion that the problem stems from the owners of credit card because they never know how NOT to charge their cards. It all boils down to discipline and I think that if you cannot discipline yourself NOT to charge your card, then don’t take it out! However, I know of people who do not carry cash at all. They charge their cards every chance they have even for small purchases because they think that they can manage paying off the bill at the end of the month but they can’t because they have spent more than they earn.
For many people who are in this situation, it is best that they seek Credit Card Consolidation so that they have one debt account to take care of instead of multiple debts that they may miss out and default on. By consolidating debt they will even raise their credit score a little compared to having multiple debts.
If after doing so and they still cannot cope with their debts, then they should get Debt Relief. After reading the pointers on who should get debt relief, I realize that many people I know QUALIFY for it and yet they are not proactive about getting themselves out of debt.
The first step will always have to start from within an individual.

Very simple pointers, yet so many people are in debt because of the lack of discipline and responsibility when it comes to credit cards. The boyfriend has over $10,000 worth the credit card debt and I find that beyond ridiculous. But hey, at least now he won’t be getting another one to make the same mistake. Well, they won’t give him another one. Difference? Haha.

Having a credit card is a difficult thing, you are always tempted to spent money on purchases and then find out that you have spent too much. Fortunately there are ways to improve the situation and to solve the problem.

Hi Jenna!
Thanks for coming by and leaving a comment!
I still think it’s the best NOT to have a card. Yeah, I know it’s so 1970s but then at least we can get rid of the temptation!
