It’s A Very Competitive Market
September 10, 2007 – 2:30 pmA couple of nights ago, I went to shop for a laptop. I went to this plaza that closes at 9pm. Too early! I reached there at half past eight so there wasn’t much time to check out the few stores that were still open.
I walked straight into the first computer store that was open and checked out the laptops they have on display. The salesman gave me quite a briefing trying to sell me a laptop and the manager offered to give me a bunch of gifts if I close a sale on the spot.
I decided that I needed time to think about it because I would need to make sure that I am getting the best deal for MYR4000.
I went away to a nearby store and guess what? This store has a laptop of the same brand with way better specifications BUT the price difference is only a mere MYR11. Hah…. thankfully I did not buy that laptop from the first shop or I would regret for the lifespan of the laptop.
