Lelong’s BuyNow Upgraded
September 8, 2007 – 12:40 amNot too long ago, I found out that Lelong has upgraded their BuyNow feature and with this upgrade, we can now leave a feedback to our trading partner. No longer do we have to make do with a Neutral. The bad thing is that we no longer can use this feature for FREE and yet gain from the feedback. If we would like to benefit from the feedback, we will have to go through the whole process on Lelong’s record and pay a fees of 1% of the selling price or a minimum of 20sen to a maximum of MYR1.

I do not understand why Lelong encourages us to trade off the marketplace. Don’t they welcome the little revenue that we BuyNow users could generate for them? Also, if we just want to safe the little fees, remember, it is OFF the record and if the transaction goes bad, there will be no recourse for us. Do you think that Lelong will step in to assist the Buyer and Seller if a transaction did not conclude as expected when the transaction is not on record and they did not receive their fees?
