Life, Home & Car Insurance

Last weekend, I tagged along with my friend for his appointment with his insurance agent. According to this agent, my friend does not need life insurance because my friend is single and is only supporting an elderly mother. Going by this logic, I am desperately in need of a life insurance cover because I am supporting the whole family and I can’t afford to have anything happen to me or they would be left in a lurch. This is why I know that life insurance is very important in my situation.

My friend also had to renew his house insurance. I was surprised that his is way expensive than mine and I remember that I should increase my premium too because back when we bought that home insurance, we did not have so many electrical appliances. The value of our house has also appreciated and I have a small office and all these should also be taken into consideration.

And lastly, he had to renew his car insurance. He said that if he has money, he would like to upgrade to comprehensive insurance so that he does not have to worry about when is right or wrong in an accident! That could be every frustrating indeed. I am glad that I do not own a car yet. One less commitment *sigh*
