Listing Cancellation of Vibrators/Adult Toys
September 15, 2007 – 1:18 amI found it so amusing when I came upon the forum tread on Lelong where the Administrator sounded a warning about canceling listings of vibrators and adult toys. Well, did I not say all along that these items are illegal in Malaysia?
Previously, I have been approached by my Buyers to bring them in but I declined. Imagine bringing in new stocks to have ready buyers, that is, if we could get past Customs. However, no way am I going to get fined and have my goods confiscated just for that little extra pocket money. I have a reputation to uphold as well.
Well, personally, I feel that Lelong should have taken action a long time ago. I mean, people selling sex toys on Lelong is not an overnight phenomenon. It all started with condoms and then people became bolder and bolder. Of Lelong has been heavy handed on these people from the on set, we do not have to each this stage where I believe, Lelong received a warning from the relevant authorities. Why wait till now? Aren’t they aware of the Laws of Malaysia? Shame on them!
