Medical Receivable Factoring
September 10, 2007 – 9:23 amNot too long ago, I wrote a couple of post about invoice factoring and how important it is for any business to have a smooth cash flow without disrupting the operations of the company. Today, I came across something called medical receivable factoring and I was surprised because honestly, I thought that only businesses are in need if this service.
After reading the website, though, I realize that for medical facilities like small hospitals, clinics and other medical supporting services, it is all the more important to not be caught in the cash flow crunch.
Invoice factoring, also known as accounts receivable financing, if you do not know, is when a company lets go their invoices at a slight discount to factoring companies. Some companies like this because they will have fast cash on hand and not go though the hassle of taking out a loan from financial institutes, which they may not even qualify.
