My AccentCard Visa Expired
September 13, 2007 – 8:25 amSome of you may recall that I actually spent US$50 to buy the AccentCard Visa a few months ago. I was supposed to activate it within two months but I did not. That was because after I bought it, I changed my mind and I even wrote to my Seller (there are only two authorized Sellers in Malaysia, I was told) that I wanted to cancel my order but he said that my order has already been processed. Yeah, riiiight.
Anyway, it did come, in an ordinary airmail envelope after one month. I did not want to use it because I did not want to cause my PayPal account to be suspended pending review and my funds will be stuck. I actually did not have a choice and between this and VIM I thought that I am going for the lesser evil.
But the I heard that both cads are risky simply due to the fact that the account names on PayPal and the bank account do not match, hence the investigation. This wnan;t something that I was prepared to go through.
Just before it went past 60 days upon my application, I wrote to my Seller telling him that I did not activate my card and I would like to cancel it. He told me that since the card is not activated at all and there is no funds inside, the card will expire by itself without incurring cost to me.
