She Rambles On

No Confidence Shopping Online

… or rather, shopping from this particular online store. It is kind of weird that although I run my own online store and advocate online shopping, my confidence with this particular store went down the drain.

If you remember, I bought two packages from this company in early August, just a few days apart. The second package reached me rather swiftly. I expected to wait for three weeks but it came on the second week.

Unfortunately the first is no where to be seen even after one month! I figure that it may have been stopped by Customs due to tax and with the Merdeka holidays, it could have been further delayed but now the long weekend holiday has come and gone and there is still not a sign of the darn box and I was so waiting for it to come.

When I make a purchase, no matter how much I have spent, I expect it to arrive and yes, it is up to the Seller to make sure that it arrives to the Buyer. It is not about the money, it is about wanting the product and it failing to turn up. It may not be their fault and I know that once the package has left their hands they have no control over it. But still, it galls.

Unfortunately, I don’t even have anyone from the company to talk to about my problem because they do not even have a damn email address on their website. Sure they have a toll free number there but it does me no good when I am an international buyer.

Ahh… to think that I have bought from a reputable store and still get burnt!
