Seeking New Search Engine Marketing Options
September 29, 2007 – 11:16 amAfter almost two years in ecommerce, I am increasingly aware of the importance of search engine marketing, optimization and link building, so much so that I recently requested for a quotation on a service provided by a company which promised to place keywords relevant to my business to the first page of the three major search engines. Although it is no fun having keywords like “sexy lingerie”, “Malaysian lingerie store” and other similar terms at the back pages of the search engines search results, the figure shown on the quotation shocked me. I am not sure if being a sole proprietor, I would ever be able to afford THAT!
And then I was told of USWeb.
Honestly, I have heard of this company before and I did not seek a quotation from them because they are such a large company that I thought that their services would not come cheap and frankly, I do not have the budget for their kind of specialized services.
However, I was told that they do work with small to medium-sized companies as well to fit their budget and requirements. These companies have found the services of USWeb competitive and reasonable considering their level of commitment to each campaign irrespective of the size or budget.
Well, I guess it is time for me to explore this new option now.
