Sharing Information & Trade Secrets

There’s a guy who has been asking lots of questions on the forums, like I mentioned. Well, he is seeking people to share information and trade secrets with him. Does he think that there will be people who are willing to do so? Yes, if someone needs help, members will try to help, teach the person where to write to and even offer solutions but when it comes to trade secrets, I don’t think that anyone is willing to share, especially to a fellow Seller.

Sure, he mentioned that there is no competition because he is selling product A while others are selling Product B, C, D and E. However, is there a law which says that he can never ever sell product B, C, D and/or E in future? He certainly does sound naive but I would say that he is over smart, instead.

People will only share information like this when they have met each other, gotten to know each other, like each other and know that their business will not be undercut. Certainly no Seller in his right mind would share trade secrets in a public forum with someone they hardly know except their trade ID.
