The Chinese Think Of Everything
September 21, 2007 – 11:07 pmYou know Chinese have the knack of finding loopholes in things when they have monetary gain. The other day, I came was at a local convenience store and the boss was transferring prepaid credit from his maid’s phone line to his own so I asked what happened.
The boss explained that it was the maid’s birthday recently and to take advantage of the birthday bonus given by the network, he topped up the credit of he maid’s line MYR150 to get the 100% bonus that is being offered.
This telecommunications company offers birthday bonus to the birthday boy/girl on the actual date and 3 days before and 3 days after the birthday, totalling seven days but the maximum top up is only MYR150. So the boss took full advantage of the offer when it was the maid’s birthday. Smart, eh?
