The Vending Machine Business
September 18, 2007 – 2:35 pmI am often asked if I know of any ways where people can earn a living from home. That is a tough question because not many people can cope with a life like this. Can you imagine putting in hours and hours of work without having colleagues to chat and laugh with you? Well, that’s only part of it. However, I do believe there are advantages as well like time flexibility but discipline is the most important thing to master when it comes to being your own boss.
Sometime back, I talked about being your own boss by selling products with a high profit margin and even giving examples and sources where products could be procured.
Another way to work for yourself is if you rent vending machines and place them at busy sidewalks. This is a rather good business. I read about the company, vendstar, not too long ago.
What you need to do is to rent the machine at a fixed rental and you get to collect the takings. After deduction of total cost from your takings, the balance is your profit. YOU may think tat this is rather risky because yes, it will be touch of nobody puts in a coin or two.
So it is up to you to utilize your tools. What vending machine do you want and where do you want to place them? Just remember that all businesses come with risk. The advantage of a vending machine is that the machine works for you 24/7. Imagine if you have ten machines simultaneously. You can multiply your profit then!
