Would You Pay $200 For A Backpack?
September 15, 2007 – 5:10 pmI figured somebody would, or this company would not be selling it at that obscene price. My friend informed me that he would be buying this bag, which I shall not name since the company did not pay for a link mah 
Anyway, from its online store, the price is USD200. In KLCC though, it is retailing at over MYR500. You say obscene or not?
At today’s currency exchange rate of USD1 - MRY3.48xx, buying from the online store would cost MYR700 already, and we have not even added in shipping and handling. And to get the same backpack for only MYR5XX, cash and carry, or charge and carry, my friend is thinking that he is getting a good deal.
Uh-uh.. to me, that is way more than I want to spend on a backpack! I might as well use this amount of money to buy an Apple iPod or Amanah Saham bonds to increase my MYR500 LOL
