As A Maybank Customer

October 1, 2007 – 8:00 am

A friend told me to close my Maybank account because Maybank charges high fees for some services and transactions. For example, setting a limit on the number of times we can make withdrawals through the ATM, to withdraw OUR OWN money, ridiculous!

Like the other day when I compared the interest rates of four banks RHB returned the highest, followed by Maybank, Public Bank and HSBC (almost non-existent). Anyway, I can’t simply just close my account because my loyal Buyers have already set my account number as one of their favourite third party accounts, or wrote it down somewhere or even memorised it. Besides, Maybank has the largest network of branches in Malaysia which means easy payment, hassle-free purchase.

What others do not know is that Maybank customers do not have to pay the MYR8 annual fee for the ATM card while other banks deduct that amount as soon as the account is opened.

See, Maybank doesn’t suck every drop of blood from us, you know? :)
