Being “Reachable”, Or Not

I am sure there are many times that you seek an answer from somebody and you write an email to him or her asking your question and expecting a reply and the person did not reply. Well, sometimes this happens to me and I wonder, why leave your email address and tell us that you can be reached at such and such an email and telephone number.

What is the use of providing these contact details when a reply is not going to be forth coming, right?

There is no use to be reachable when you do not reach out back at the person who writes in to you to seek clarification over something that seems major to the one person but trivial to another, if you know what I mean.

And if you have read my blog from the early days, you would know what I think of such people. They are very rude and if these are business mails, then they are doing their company a disservice for projecting such a lackadaisical attitude.

By the way, the company that approached me about web designing, well, the guy still did not reply me. It has been 3.5 days already and counting ………
